I grew up in New Jersey, spending as much time as I could by the ocean. I eventually made my way to Cincinnati, Ohio for college, where I studied design and bought my first Sony camera. I started bringing it everywhere, learning as I went, and somewhere along the way photography became much more than a hobby.

After college, I headed west and made a home in Santa Barbara, California, a place I’d dreamed about living for years. I fell in love with the slower pace, the coastline, and having the ocean woven into everyday life. When I’m not photographing weddings, you can usually find me surfing, knitting, taking photos, or somewhere along the coast.

My love for photographing couples came a little later. After my brother got engaged, I photographed an engagement session for him and his fiancée, and something about it clicked for me. I loved creating a story around two people and finding ways to capture their connection and what it felt like through light, composition, direction, and editing.

That eventually led me to weddings, where I found everything I love about photography in one place. I genuinely love love, and there’s something really special about getting to tell the story of a day that means so much to the people in it.
